Tough Loss to Marlin Academy Red 71-77

Tough Loss Day 1 at the MYT Best of the Midwest, as Leland Kinzer (North Central) drops a daggering 32 points, shooting 7/11 from 3pt. Even with that not being enough to bring down Marlin Academy, Hancock (ND) dropped 18 points & Hays (OV) put up 12 points respectively, while both dominated in rebounds. Foul calls were 3 to 1, giving the Indiana Ballerz a lot of problems with foul trouble and their bench being short a few players Day 1. Marlin Academy had no answers for Kinzer's shooting abilities but in the end made a few less mistakes/turnovers and came out with the win 77-71 over the Indiana Ballerz. Having key players like Braxton Michael (OV) & Trace Riggins (ND) could have been a difference maker, but Kinzer (NC) stepped up big this weekend for the Indiana Ballerz.
